willit.today answers one question per page: will it rain in your city today? The answer is YES, MAYBE, or NO — displayed as large as possible, nothing else above the fold.

No accounts, no ads, no 10-day forecasts. The URL is the saved city. Bookmark /rain/mumbai and you have a one-tap daily ritual.

We use two signals from Open-Meteo: precipitation probability (%) and total forecast rainfall (mm). Either signal crossing a threshold triggers the answer:

• YES probability ≥60% or forecast ≥2 mm
• MAYBE probability ≥30% or forecast ≥0.5 mm
• NO below the MAYBE thresholds

Each city is updated twice a day: at local midnight (start-of-day forecast) and local noon (midday refresh).

Weather data from Open-Meteo, a free and open-source weather API. We use their forecast endpoint with no modifications.

No cookies. No personal data collected. No advertising trackers.

Anonymous page-view counts via Umami, a cookieless analytics tool. Umami does not use cookies and is GDPR-compliant. There is no cookie banner because there are no cookies.

The /rain/me page calls your browser's geolocation API (only with your permission) and, as a fallback, a public IP-geolocation service. Neither is logged or stored.
